Moraine Park Technical College is being recognized for its work to support military veterans.
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development named Moraine Park one of 25 Vets Ready Employers statewide for 2025 — earning the college a gold certification in the large employer category.
College President Bonnie Baerwald says the recognition “reflects the dedicated work of many and affirms our continued commitment to keeping veteran support at the forefront of what we do.”
Underemployment remains one of the biggest challenges for U.S. veterans, and programs like this aim to break down those barriers.
Moraine Park is one of just two Wisconsin technical colleges to make the list this year — alongside Northwoods Technical College.
