(FOND DU LAC) The Moraine Park Foundation is receiving a $50,000 donation from the National Exchange Bank Foundation as the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The gift was presented during the foundationโs anniversary gala in Fond du Lac and will help support scholarships and student assistance programs at Moraine Park Technical College.
Since it was founded in 1976, the Moraine Park Foundation says it has awarded more than $5 million in scholarships to students across the region. The organization also helps provide textbook grants, emergency assistance and other financial support aimed at helping students stay in school and complete their education.
National Exchange Bank Foundation board member Adam Stone said the donation is meant to support future students and strengthen the local workforce.
โMoraine Park is a place where our community grows and progresses,โ Stone said in a statement.
Foundation leaders say support from community partners has helped reduce financial barriers for thousands of students over the past five decades.
The Moraine Park Foundation plans to continue its anniversary celebration throughout 2026 as part of its โ$50 for 50โ fundraising campaign, which encourages community donations to support future scholarships and student resources.
