(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam has announced its interim president. Mandy Shelast will take on the role.
She began visiting the Beaver Dam campus Monday and started working closely with current President Angelia Foster as part of the transition process. Foster’s last day at the hospital is on October 7th as she has taken a president position with Baptist Health in Kentucky.
Shelast says she is excited to explore the Dodge County region and begin collaborating with the teams in Beaver Dam.
Foster says she has the utmost confidence that Shelast is the right person to take Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam to the next level.
With 15 years of experience in health care leadership, Shelast has served as the president of Marshfield Clinic Health System’s Michigan Region since February of 2023. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Central Michigan University and has spent her health care career in the Midwest.
Shelast represents and advocates for rural health care on the national level, serving as the President of the National Association of Rural Health Clinics. She will continue in her role as president of the Michigan region while also leading Beaver Dam.
