(Markesan) The Markesan School District is looking to fill a vacancy on the school board. The seat represents the towns of Fox Lake, Mackford, and Alto and those who live in those areas are encouraged to apply.
Whoever is appointed by the school board will serve until April of next year. The person elected during the spring 2024 vote will serve a one year term to complete the original three year stint.
The seat will be up for election again in April of 2025. Interested individuals should contact Board of Education Clerk Brad Krueger at N2357 State Road 73, Markesan, WI, 53946. Applications will be accepted through February 17th.
