(LOMIRA) A Lomira man accused of possessing child pornography was back in court this week.
Forty-five-year-old Derek Weinfurter appeared in Dodge County Court on Monday, where he waived his preliminary hearing. He’s now scheduled to return for an arraignment on December 30.
Weinfurter was arrested last month after investigators with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office followed up on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He’s charged with 10 felony counts of possessing child pornography.
The case is part of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
