Beaver Dam Raceway Equipment Heads to Auction

(BEAVER DAM) The roar of engines is gone from Beaver Dam Raceway — and now, everything that kept the track running is up for sale.

After closing its gates for good in September, the longtime Wisconsin racetrack is auctioning off its equipment and assets in an online sale run by Steffes Group, Inc.

Owner Scott Boyd said the decision marks the end of one chapter and the start of another. The land once home to stock cars and sprint races now serves as a storage site for Meta’s new AI data center, which is under construction in Beaver Dam. Boyd is also exploring development plans for the property with city officials.

The auction will include nearly everything tied to the raceway’s operations — from track prep gear and motor graders to water trucks, tractors, ATVs, billboards, and even food and concession equipment.

Buyers can preview items Monday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bidding opens the same day and closes Monday, Dec. 15, with three separate auction rings closing at staggered times.

Full details and the auction catalog are available at SteffesGroup.com.
