Listen To Fall River Girls Volleyball At State On 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam

The Fall River High School girls volleyball team is heading to the WIAA State Tournament for the first time in school history and you can hear all the action on 1430 ESPN Beaver.

The Pirates earned the #4 seed and will face #1 seed Wonewoc-Center on Friday morning at 9am in a Division Four State Semifinal.

The 4th seeded Pirates are making their first-ever appearance in the State Tournament. Fall River earned their initial berth in the tourney by taking down Barneveld 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 in the Johnson Creek Sectional final. They are the champions in the West Division of the Trailways Conference this year.

Top-seeded Wonewoc-Center returns to State for the third consecutive season after making their first-ever appearance in 2021. The Wolves are attempting to advance beyond the semifinals for the first time. They earned their return to Green Bay with a 25-15, 25-17, 25-21 win over Columbus Catholic in the sectional final hosted by Cashton. They are the runners-up in the Scenic Bluffs Conference this season.

Coverage begins at 8:40am on Friday morning with the first serve at 9am on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
