The Beaver Dam Lions Club is reminding the public that they can stop by their fruit distribution site to grab a box of produce. The organization’s annual fruit sale fundraiser wrapped up in November, but those who missed out can still pick up some fruit. Former Lions Club president Mark Barrette says the fruit will be available for pick up later this week.
“It’ll be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday December 6th, December 7th, and December 8th, and it will be approximately from 9[am] to 5[pm],” says Barrette. “It will be at the warehouse and the warehouse will be at 111 East Burnett Street.”
Those interested can buy California Navel Oranges with 24 to 28 per box for $25 dollars or Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit with 24 per box for $30 dollars, with gift boxes also available for purchase.
