(HUSTISFORD) People in Hustisford may notice a heavy law enforcement presence around the local school this week, but it’s all part of a planned training exercise.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and other agencies will be training at John Hustis Elementary School from Monday through Thursday while students are on spring break.
Officials say there will be multiple police vehicles in and around the school, along with signs posted to let people know training is underway.
The sheriff’s office says the goal is to prepare officers to better respond to emergencies and keep schools and communities safe.
