Kenneth R. Baker

Kenneth R. Baker, 69, of Waupun passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Kenneth was born on September 29, 1956 in Beaver Dam to Robert and Bernice (Stark) Baker. Ken was a hardworking man who took pride in his work. He was employed with Robbins Manufacturing in Fall River and later with Vintage Parts in Beaver Dam where he retired. He was married to the love of his life Susan Hafenstein on September 15, 1984 at St. Stephenโ€™s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Ken loved his church family. He was a member of Trinity Church in Waupun where he served as a past deacon. He enjoyed following the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, and Bucks as well as attending games. Ken loved being outdoors riding his motorcycle, taking pontoon boat rides, and taking trips to the cabin. He loved his family and was very involved in his childrenโ€™s lives. Though his love and dedication to his children, Ken was able give his children a wonderful childhood and live that joy through them.

Ken is survived by his wife Susan of Waupun; his children: Kristin (Pat) Bennett of Waupun, Kyle Baker of Waupun, and Kara (Joshua) Jahns of Brandon; grandchildren: Jackson and Lukas Bennett, Sadie, Sawyer, and Sophie Grace Jahns; the younger brother he never had, Dave Hafenstein of Waupun; his fur babies: Callie, Laci, and Cameron; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Trinity Church in Waupun on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

Kenโ€™s family would like to thank everyone at the SSM Cancer Center in Fond du Lac especially Dr. Jasleen Randhawa and Dr. Filip Troicki as well as Denise and Tasha for all their wonderful care and support.
