JUNEAU – The Juneau Public Library is inviting families to step inside a whale during a free Summer Reading Program event in Dodge County.
“Clara the Whale” will make her Dodge County debut Thursday, July 9, during the library’s “Whale of a Story” event. The program runs from 12PM to 5PM at the Juneau Community Center gymnasium, 500 Lincoln Avenue.
Presented by Forest Whales, the traveling science program features a 56-foot inflatable whale that visitors can walk through. The library says the event will also include interactive exhibits and authentic marine artifacts, including a narwhal tusk and an orca skull.
The program is free and open to visitors of all ages. It is supported by Gratton’s Garages and the Friends of the Juneau Public Library.
