John Moser And Bill McCollum Selected As 2020 WBA Local Broadcast Legends

(Beaver Dam) Two long-standing icons at WBEV/95X will be recognized by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. John Moser and Bill McCollum have been chosen as 2020 WBA Local Broadcast Legends. The award was established in 2015 as a way to honor individuals that work behind the scenes, exemplify localism and fulfill the commitment broadcasters have to serve their communities. โ€œUncle Billโ€ has been with the Beaver Dam station for 57 years while spending most of that time hosting the WBEV Morning Show as well as the popular Barn Show. In Johnโ€™s 47 years at the radio station, he has served as news director, program director, sales manager and most recently as general manager. Good Karma Brands Found and CEO Craig Karmazin says this is the first time that the WBAโ€™s have chosen to honor two people from the same market. Three others will be recognized alongside John and Bill: Karen Dalessandro, Erin Davisson and the late Peter Murphy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this yearโ€™s honorees will be honored during the 2021 WBA Summer Conference.
