(Madison) Senator John Jagler’s committee assignments have been announced. The Watertown republican was named the chair of the Senate Committee of Housing, Commerce and Trade as well as vice chair of the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Revenue. Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (lema-hue) says Jagler’s experience and reform-minded record of service in the assembly will be a tremendous asset to the Senate Republican Caucus. Jagler says he is pleased with the committees that he was assigned to and looks forward to tackling the issues presented to them. He says he has already hit the ground running and is excited to serve the people of the 13th Senate District. Jagler was also appointed to the Senate Committee on Education, the Senate Committee on Insurance, Licensing and Forestry and the Senate Committee on Sporting Heritage, Small Business and Rural Issues.
