(Watertown) Governor Tony Evers Tuesday called for a special election for the 37th Assembly District. The seat was vacated following the election of Senator John Jagler to the 13th Senate District. The special election will be held July 13th. A primary, if necessary, will be held on June 15th. Circulation of nomination papers official began yesterday and must be filed by 5pm on May 18th. Cathy Houchin, Nate Pollnow, Steve Kauffeld, William Penterman and Jennifer Meinhardt have all announced their bid for the seat.
