BEAVER DAM – HH Improvements is hosting a food drive throughout July to support the Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry.
According to the announcement, the food drive will run from July 1 through July 31. Community members are encouraged to donate unopened, nonperishable food items that are in good condition and within their expiration dates.
Suggested donations include peanut butter, canned proteins such as tuna and chicken, soups, chili, pasta, rice, cereal and shelf-stable milk.
Donations can be dropped off at the HH Improvements office, 131 E. Maple Ave. in Beaver Dam, from 8AM to 4PM Monday through Friday. The announcement says large donations should be called in ahead of time. Donations may also be left at the office’s front door after hours.
Organizers say accepted items must be unopened, sealed and in their original packaging. Damaged, dented or expired items will not be accepted. Alcohol, tobacco, medications and perishable produce are also not permitted.
