(Beaver Dam) GPS Education Partners announces its inaugural class in Dodge County with a Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event took place at the Dodge County Education Center, hosted at Moraine Park Technical Collegeโs Beaver Dam Campus.
This milestone event marks the expansion of GPS Edโs innovative educational model of work-based learning into the Beaver Dam, Dodgeland, Horicon, and Mayville school districts. This model introduces youth to the world of work and fosters purpose and relevance in education.
The Dodge County Education Center in Beaver Dam is GPS Edโs eighth regional site in Wisconsin and local businesses including Neuman Pools, John Deere Horicon Works, MEC, Summit Automotive, and Generac are partnering to host students.
Beaver Dam School District Superintendent Mark DiStefano says this is a wonderful opportunity for their students to demonstrate their talents in an alternative way through engaging with employers and learning critical life skills.
Officials with the Beaver Dam Chamber say this ribbon cutting event symbolizes a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities and workforce development in the Dodge County region.
