The Beaver Dam High School girls basketball team travels to Sheboygan South High School today for a WIAA Division 2 Sectional Final matchup against Appleton Xavier. You can listen to the game on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam and watch live on DailyDodge TV.
Beaver Dam (21-6) advanced to the sectional final with a commanding 52-30 win over Port Washington on Thursday night in Mequon. Xavier (22-5) earned its spot with a narrow 42-39 victory over West De Pere.
The Hawks, champions of the Bay Conference, moved up to Division 2 this season after finishing as WIAA State Tournament runner-up the past two years. Brynn Krull leads Xavier in scoring at 18.8 points per game, while Haley Hafner also averages double figures at 14.4 points per contest.
Coverage begins at 12:45 p.m., with tipoff set for 1 p.m. on DailyDodge TV and 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
The winner advances to the WIAA Division Two State Semifinals next Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
