Generac Announces Proposed Plans For New Facility In Beaver Dam

(Beaver Dam) Plans are in the works to bring a new manufacturing facility to Beaver Dam. Generac Power Systems, in conjunction with the city, Wednesday announced its proposed plans to construct a 320-thousand-square-foot facility in the Highway 151 Business Park.

Beaver Dam Mayor Becky Glewen says Generacโ€™s intended investment to our region is a testament to the business-friendly environment we have worked hard to cultivate. She adds that the establishment of this new plant translates to meaningful employment, stronger families, and a flourishing economy for Beaver Dam and the region.

Generacโ€™s Chief Executive Officer and President Aaron Jagdfeld says the demand for their industrial generators continues on a rapid growth trajectory, and this new facility will help them to best meet the needs of their customers.

The new facility will include a mix of manufacturing and office employees, and will eventually employ up to 350-to-400 people in total. Pending city approval of the project, Generac will begin construction later this year with a completion goal of early 2025.
