Fond du Lac Suspect Arrested for Bomb Threats

Thanks, 620 WTMJ

(FOND DU LAC) Fond du Lac police have arrested a person in connection to multiple bomb threats across different cities.

Police received multiple bomb threats targeting various locations within the city between Nov. 21 and Nov. 24.

On Nov. 21 at approximately 1:43 p.m., police responded to bomb threats reported at two locations: the Fond du Lac County Health Care Center and Fond du Lac High School. Both threats were received simultaneously and were identical in nature.

Investigators identified a suspect believed to be responsible that was linked to a possible address in Tomahawk. Tomahawk Police Department responded to threats against the Trigs Grocery Store on Nov. 23 and 24. They believe the suspect is the same one involved in the Fond du Lac threats.

Then on the morning of Nov. 25, Fond du Lac detectives were notified of a bomb threat targeting Kewaskum High/Middle School. This prompted district leaders to close the school early.

Working with the Kewaskum Police Department, Fond du Lac detectives determined the same suspect was a person of interest in that incident as well.

Later that afternoon, detectives located and arrested the suspect. He is currently being held in connection with multiple ongoing investigations involving threats made across several Wisconsin jurisdictions. Daily Dodge is not providing his name, as formal charges have not yet been filed.
