Fond Du Lac Man Who Fled With Infant After Crash Faces Endangerment Charges

(Fond du Lac) A Fond du Lac man and woman involved in a car crash that set off a search for the man and his infant daughter have been charged with endangerment. Twenty-four-year-old Jordan Smack and 21-year-old Cambri Sippel both have been charged with Frist Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. After the crash on Brown Road on October 14th, Smack reportedly took his four-month-old daughter Serenity and the two spent the night in the woods, hitchhiking back home the following morning. Sippel managed to get the car out of the ditch and went back to Fond du Lac. Unable to reach Smack by cell phone she called the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Communications Center setting off an intensive search for Smack and his daughter. Both Smack and Sippel were on probation at the time. Cash bond was set at $500 for both during their initial appearances in court.
