(Fond du Lac) The Fond du Lac County Board recently adopted the 2023 budget with a unanimous vote. Finance Committee Chairperson Marty Ryan says every department head provided great information to the committee about the challenges their departments face.
He says wages and health insurance were common issues, which the county will continue to address. Fond du Lac County’s overall tax levy is nearly $50.9 million with a tax rate of $5.20 per thousand-dollars of assessed value.
