Fitzgerald Meets with Clergy at Capitol

(Madison) Senate Majority Leader, Scott Fitzgerald, recently met with Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki and Maison Bishop Donald Hying.  Topics discussed by the trio included the ongoing fight against human trafficking and protecting the unborn.  Fitzgerald released a statement following the meeting saying, “As a Catholic, it was my honor to host Archbishop Listecki and Bishop Hying at my Madison office to talk about important issues facing our area.”  The statement conveys Fitzgerald’s work to fight human trafficking in the 13th Senate District and the partnerships efforts to stop attacks on human life and dignity.  The senator also mentions his work to promote pro-life policies including his authoring of the state’s partial-birth abortion ban.
