(TAYCHEEDAH) A fast-moving fire damaged a pole shed and several pieces of equipment Saturday afternoon in the Town of Taycheedah, but crews were able to keep it from spreading.
Deputies and firefighters were called to Laurel Lane around 4:28 p.m. for a report of a 30-by-40-foot shed on fire, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. When they arrived, smoke and flames were coming from inside the building.
Fire crews quickly put out the fire, saving much of the structure. Still, several trailers and equipment inside were damaged, including a boat and a lawn mower.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters are still working to figure out what caused the fire. The Mt. Calvary Fire Department is leading the investigation.
Crews from St. Cloud, the Town of Fond du Lac, Calumet, Eden first responders and Mt. Calvary Ambulance all helped at the scene.
