UPDATE: The driver of the Nissan was identified as Fatima Sughayer, and the driver of the Mercury was identified as Natasha Rechek.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriffโs Office.
(FOX LAKE) A morning crash in Dodge County left one woman seriously hurt and another with minor injuries after a U-turn attempt led to a collision.
Deputies say it happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday on County Highway P near Pleasant Road in the town of Fox Lake.
Investigators say a 34-year-old woman from Berlin was driving east when she tried to make a U-turn. Her car was then hit by a minivan driven by a 45-year-old woman from Cambria.
The Berlin driver was flown by helicopter to UW Hospital with serious injuries. The other driver was taken by ambulance to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam with what deputies describe as minor injuries.
Several agencies responded, including police, fire and EMS crews from Randolph and Fox Lake, along with Med Flight.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved. The crash remains under investigation.
