(FOND DU LAC) Fond du Lac police say a 69-year-old man fired shots gunshots in the city Wednesday after dogs that that had escaped from a nearby yard bit him multiple times.
Police responded to 911 calls with a controlled tactical response, including an armored vehicle. As they arrived, they made contact with the man, who was taken into protective custody. No one else was hurt, the dogs were not harmed, and the dogs’ owner was located. The incident remains under investigation.
