Evers Stops In All 72 Wisconsin Counties Highlighted

(Dodge County) The governor’s office recently released highlights from Tony Evers stops in all 72 Wisconsin counties during 2021. At his Dodge County stop, done in August, Evers visited Gurn-Z Meadow Farm located in Columbus to announce a new round of funding through his Farm Support Program. More than 20,000 farmers received direct assistance through the most recent round of the program, including just over $1.8-million-dollars to Dodge County.

During his Columbia County stop, Evers meet with local famers and organizations as they prepared for opening day of the county fair in July.  The Jefferson County stop, saw the governor meet with residents in Sullivan whose homes and properties suffered damage caused by severe weather.

In early October, Evers visited with several local businesses in Fond du Lac County to highlight investments made through his Mainstreet Bounceback gran program.

In summarizing his stops, Evers said whether it’s stopping by small businesses or schools, touring farms or manufacturers, or visiting with public health and healthcare workers, one of the most important parts of his job is hearing directly from Wisconsinites about the issues they care about.
