(Green Lake County) Governor Tony Evers recently announced that he is seeking applicants for coroner in Green Lake County. The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the passing of Daniel Krieser, who died in November. Governor Tony Evers says Wisconsin is grateful for Krieser’s service and he extends his deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues as they continue to mourn his loss.
The new coroner will complete a term through January 1st of 2023. Interested individuals must submit an online application with cover letter detailing professional and academic qualifications, civic activities, and community involvement. The governor’s office must receive the application materials no later than 5pm on January 28th. An application can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on the governor’s website www.evers.wi.gov.
