(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has some position openings at the agency. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says available jobs include patrol lieutenant and deputy.
“I don’t have the starting wages in front of me, [but] I do know that’s on our app,” says Schmidt. “[There are] great opportunities there. 12 hour shifts are coming in March or February, so they’ll have half the year off.”
Schmidt says that those officers would be working from 5am to 5pm. He adds that there are multiple ways people can apply for openings if they are interested.
“You can go right to our app and scan the QR code,” Schmidt says. “You can go to [the] Dodge County website to the ‘We’re Hiring’ little tab, way up on the top, and fill out an application there.”
The sheriff says other positions that are hiring include patrol and correctional officers.
