Dodgeland High School Student Finalist For Tractor Restoration Competition

(Juneau) A Dodgeland High School student is one of 12 finalists for the 26th Annual Chevron Tractor Restoration Competition. The competition is a STEM initiative designed to foster hands-on learning, critical thinking, and teamwork among high school students, while celebrating the heritage of agricultural machinery.

Noah Roberts, representing Dodgeland FFA in Juneau, was selected among 11 others from across the country. Roberts restored an antique tractor that he purchased, a 1950 Farmall M. He started last fall and completed his work this past August.

To enter the Chevron Delo, Roberts had to have his tractor completely restored and submit a video documenting the project. Finalist presentations will take place November 2nd through the 3rd in Indianapolis, co-located with the 2023 FFA National Expo, were the winner will be announced.

A total of $20,000 in awards will be handed out. First place receives $10,000, second place gets $5,000, and $3,000 for third place. The public can also vote for a โ€œfan favoriteโ€ until October 27th.
