(Township of Beaver Dam) Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in the township of Beaver Dam Wednesday afternoon. Read the full press release:
At 4:08 pm, Dodge County Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash, with injuries, at the intersection of County Highway B and County Highway W in the township of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, WI.
Initial investigation shows a 2016 Ford F150, driven by a 67-year-old male from Fox Lake, WI, was westbound on County Highway B when the driver lost control. The Ford truck entered the eastbound lane of County Highway B and struck an eastbound 2020 Kia SUV driven by a 39-year-old male from Beaver Dam. The driver of the Ford truck sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam then to UW-Hospital in Madison. The driver of the Kia SUV sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam then to UW-Hospital in Madison.
Assisting at the scene was the Beaver Dam Police Department, Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and DCERT.
Names are being withheld at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
