(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales dipped through the first two months of the year when compared to 2024 but overall numbers are up.
According to the Waterloo-based industry-tracking firm Reg-Trak, there were 438 vehicle sales in Dodge County through February, which is a drop of nearly five-percent. There were six more car sales than last year but truck sales declined by six-and-a-half-percent.
In Columbia County, vehicle sales were up 5.8-percent with 417 sold, 23 more than in the same timeframe last year. Truck sales were up eight-percent while car sales declined by 16-percent.
In Jefferson County, 385 vehicles rolled off dealer lots in the first months of 2025, four fewer than last year. Car sales saw a drop of 20-percent while truck sales stayed steady, increasing by just one-percent.
For the nine-county, south-central Wisconsin region as a whole, there was a six-percent rise in vehicle sales with 6,959. Truck sales in the region were up nearly seven-percent while there were just five additional car sales.
