(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales are down slightly when compared to last year’s numbers.
According to the Waterloo-based, industry tracking firm Reg-Trak, there were 2,327 vehicles sold in Dodge County through October, 72 less than by the same time one year ago, a decrease of three-percent. Truck sales were down just under four-percent while car sales did see an increase of over four-percent.
Columbia County saw over 21-hundred vehicles sold in the first 10-months of this year, which is 381 more than in 2022, an increase of 21-percent. Car sales were up six-percent while truck sales jumped 23-percent.
Jefferson County had 2,060 vehicles rolling off dealer lots this year, 279 more than last year by this time for an increase of over 15-percent. Car sales in Jefferson County were up nearly 13-percent while truck sales grew by 16-percent.
For the nine-county, south central Wisconsin region as a whole vehicle sales were up just under 17-percent with over 35-thousand sold. Car sales were up 19-percent while truck sales increased by 16-percent.
