Dodge County Unemployment Saw Little Change In July

(DODGE COUNTY) Regional unemployment saw little change in July.  

According to the state’s Department of Workforce Development, Dodge County’s unemployment rate was 2.6-percent in the six month of 2025. That is a one-tenth of a percent improvement than what was reported in June. Last year, the rate was 2.7-percent. Dodge County also improved six spots in the statewide unemployment ranking to third.  

Columbia County’s jobless numbers rose a tenth of a percentage point to 2.9-percent. That was the same rate the county had in 2024.  

Fond du Lac County’s unemployment was 3.2-percent, down from the three-percent it had the month prior. A year ago, it was 4.8-percent.  

Jefferson County’s was 2.9-percent.  

Wisconsin’s unemployment rate for July was 3.1-percent, a slight improvement over June’s 3.2-percent.
