Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Holding Free Landlord Training

(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is once again hosting free landlord and tenant training. The three-hour course will be provided to area residents or landlords interested in attending and learning more about the laws and evection process.

The program will feature Dale Hicks, a 23 year member and former president of the Wisconsin Apartment Association. He has also been a landlord for 35 years. The sheriff’s office civil process team will speak on their new Writ of Restitution procedures that will go into effect on June 1st. The county’s Clerk of Courts will also be on hand to answer questions along with staff from the Dodge County Aging and Disability Resource Center and the county’s Housing Authority.

The training will be held on May 18th at 6pm in the auditorium on the first floor of the Dodge County Administration Building in Juneau at 127 East Oak Street.
