(Dodge County) Several Dodge County school districts are receiving funds to bolster their mental health programming. Governor Tony Evers recently announced that roughly $15-million-dollars will be disbursed to local districts.
It is part of the “Kids Ahead” initiative aimed at supporting student mental health, increase offerings for first aid and trauma-based care training, and provide family assistance programs.
The Beaver Dam School District is in line for $54-thousand-dollars.
Cambria-Friesland will receive $14-thousand.
Columbus is getting $26-thousand-dollars.
Dodgeland will get $19-thousand.
Fall River was awarded $16-thousand.
Horicon is receiving $20-thousand-dollars.
Hustisford is getting $15-thousand.
Lomira $23-thousand-dollars.
Markesan will get nearly $21-thousand.
Mayville will receive $23-thousand.
Randolph $16-thousand-dollars.
Watertown $57-thousand.
Waupun with $37-thousand-dollars.
Every public school district in the state was eligible for a minimum of $10-thousand-dollars. Funds for student mental health services were a part of the biennial budget.
