Dodge County Prisons See Increased Coronavirus Cases

(Dodge County) Several Dodge County prisons have seen increased coronavirus cases, according to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Over the last two weeks, Dodge Correctional jumped from 516 positive cases among inmates to 667. There are currently 216 active cases while 450 have recovered. The facility has had 133 staff members with COVID-19. At nearby Waupun Correctional, 716 inmates have tested positive; an increase of 30 from two weeks ago. All cases have recovered. One-hundred-and-nineteen (119) employees have been confirmed to have the virus. Fox Lake Correctional went from 343 inmate cases two weeks ago to 461 as of yesterday (Monday). Eighty-four are currently active while 377 have recovered. The prison has reported 99 staff members that have had the coronavirus. Three inmates at John C. Burke Correctional currently have COVID-19 while five staff members have had the virus.
