(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 2,534 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 68,774 active cases in the state, a decrease of 1,120 from Sunday. Active cases make up 17.8-percent of the 387-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 315-thousand recoveries.
The state reported six deaths bringing that total to 3,313. Deaths account for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says around 266-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 71 deaths and 8,358 cases to date. The county had 51 negative tests returned for a running total of 33,283. County health officials are actively monitoring 1,155 people.
Washington County has reported 70 deaths along with 8,775 cases, with 2,256 being active cases.
Fond du Lac County has 50 deaths and has 8,451 positive tests on record; 1416 are active cases, a drop of 278 from last Wednesday.
Jefferson County has a seen 39 deaths and 5,352 cases to date; with 728 active cases.
Columbia County has 12 deaths and 3,480 positive tests; currently the county has 994 active cases.
Green Lake County has six deaths and 1,184 cases on record, with 122 cases reported in the last two weeks.
