(Beaver Dam) The cost to get into the Dodge County Fair is not changing. The fair board’s Sharon Keil says it will cost the same this year as it did last year.
Keil says daily admission is $7 before 12-noon and $10 after 12pm. Children ages nine and under are free. Season tickets are $35 at the gate or $27 in advance, which breaks down to $5.40 per day. The concert series, tractor pull and all other grandstand entertainment are included in the cost of paid gate admission.
As we reported last week, main stage entertainment acts are still being secured for the five-day event. If everything goes as planned, it looks like the Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull would kick-off the fair on Wednesday, August 17.
The fair is planning on two nights of country music and one night of rock. While nothing is official yet, Clay Walker would play the grandstand on Thursday and Russell Dickerson would perform on Friday. No word yet on the rock band for Saturday night.
Keil says beyond the grandstand, there will be a wide selection of attractions throughout the fairgrounds. That includes the Wild World of Animals, chainsaw carving, petting zoo, duck and pig races and Nick’s Kids Show, among others.
There will also be live music on the Radio Park Stage each night after the grandstand music acts wrap up.
The Dodge County Fair runs five-days at the fairgrounds outside Beaver Dam, wrapping up on Sunday, August 21.
