(BEAVER DAM) A long-running Dodge County tradition is returning this June, offering a morning of food, music and a closer look at local agriculture.
The Dodge County Dairy Promotion Committee will host its 46th annual Dairy Brunch on Sunday, June 7, at the Dodge County Fairgrounds just east of Beaver Dam. Food will be served from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The menu features scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, pancakes, deep-fried cheese curds, assorted cheeses, milk, juice and ice cream. Tickets are sold at the door only. Adults pay $10, children ages 5 to 11 pay $5, and kids 4 and under eat free. Carry-outs will not be available.
A community church service will kick off the morning at 8:30 a.m., with people invited to bring lawn chairs.
Throughout the event, visitors can explore educational booths in the Dairy Youth Barn to learn more about farming and agriculture in Wisconsin. Live music from The Gary Beal Band will play, and the Cheese Pairing Tent and local vendors will return.
Proceeds from the brunch support scholarships, the Dairy Ambassador program and other local efforts that promote dairy products and the dairy industry.
