Dodge County Crash Kills Beaver Dam Woman After Collision With Semi

(OAK GROVE) A Beaver Dam woman has died after a two-vehicle crash with a semi in Dodge County, authorities said.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said Keasha Altman was driving a Honda Civic that collided with a tractor-trailer at a rural intersection in the town of Oak Grove. Altman was taken by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital with life-threatening injuries and died Friday, Jan. 30, as a result of those injuries.

Deputies were called to the intersection of County Highway S and Main Street Road just before 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29. Investigators say the Honda was traveling south on Main Street Road, which is controlled by a stop sign, when it entered the intersection and was struck by an eastbound Volvo tractor pulling a loaded trailer.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as Mark McWilliams. He was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
