Dodge County Clerk Discusses Primary Election Do’s And Don’ts

(Dodge County) The Dodge County Clerk is reminding voters that they can only vote for one party while at the polls on Tuesday. Karen Gibson says it is not required but designating which party you are voting for at the top of your ballot is a good idea and can help election workers if you make a mistake.

On Monday’s Community Comment, Gibson also encouraged voters to not place their absentee ballots inside drop boxes located by their local town, village, or city halls.

Gibson notes that voters who have not yet registered to vote can do so at the polls. She says a person only needs to register if they have turned 18, changed names recently or moved since the last election.
