Dodge County Board Meetings Will Start One Hour Earlier

(Juneau) Dodge County Board meetings will be starting an hour earlier. For years board meetings got underway at 7pm but will now begin at six. That change was approved by county supervisors during their monthly meeting this week. There was also a 30-minute public comment period added, giving two minutes to each speaker.

Some supervisors were against the change, specifically the timing of it, considering that the board will usher in several new members following the April 5th election. They cited potential work conflicts, noting that many people have jobs until 5pm and may not get home until six.
