(Marquette County) The DNR says an adult doe harvested during the 2019 nine-day gun deer season in Marquette County was confirmed to have chronic wasting the disease. It is the second wild deer that tested positive for CWD in Marquette County. There is already a ban on baiting and feeding deer in Marquette, Green Lake and Columbia counties. As a result of that deer testing positive for CWD the ban will be renewed for three years in Marquette County and Columbia County while Green Lake County was extended for two years. The deer was killed within 10 miles of Green Lake County and Columbia County.
