One Bowl Chocolate Chip Bread
3 large eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. sour cream (16 oz.)
3 c. self-rising flour*
2 c. (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine eggs, sugar and sour cream; beat well. Gradually stir in flour; fold in chocolate chips. Transfer to greased 9×5” loaf an. Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 65-75 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool. *NOTE: as substitute for self-rising flour, place 4 ½ tsp. baking powder and 1 ½ tsp. salt in 1 c. measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup; combine with an additional 2 c. all-purpose flour. Makes 16 servings.
