(Hustisford) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion in the town of Hustisford over the weekend. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the residence on Indian Road around 6:30am Saturday morning.
The victim reported that two men came to his house and forced entry inside. The two individuals told the homeowner that they were law enforcement officers looking for a homicide suspect.
Authorities say one suspect remained with the victim while the other began searching the house and asked where their valuables were. Once the suspects completed their search they fled in a white Ford, single-cab pickup truck. Sheriff’s officials say the suspects are reported as being white males wearing masks and one of them possibly has a southern accent.
Since the home invasion, there has been additional law enforcement presence in the area in both marked and unmarked squads monitoring to ensure the community is safe.
