(Madison) The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has mailed out the 2024 Wisconsin Dairy Producers Survey to all licensed dairy producers in the state and asks that they be returned by the end of the month (June 30).
The survey includes about 30 questions related to various topics including marketing, conservation practices, business structure, labor, and succession planning.
The responses will provide insight into industry practices, challenges, and opportunities.
DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski says he appreciates the producers taking time out of their busy day to complete the survey and says Wisconsin will continue to be America’s Dairyland for years to come and that the survey response is important to shape the future of the state’s dairy industry. Producers can complete the survey by returning the printed version using the postmarked return for mailing.
They can also complete the survey online by scanning the QR code at the top right-hand corner of the first page of the printed version. If anyone has additional questions, they can call the DATCP Farm Center at 1-(800)-942-2474 or by email at farmcenter@wisconsin.gov.
