Cover Crop Showcase At Beaver Dam Farm Scheduled For Thursday

(Beaver Dam) Today is the deadline for those interested in attending an open house that demonstrates the benefits of conservation farming and its positive impact on the water table and farming revenues. The Dodge County Farmers Healthy Soil group is hosting the open house that will discuss conservation methods that are being utilized by area famers. Presenters will demonstrate how cover cropping improves soil water infiltration and talk about current challenges with run-off. The Open House will be held Thursday at Matt Leinke farm on N8900 Sunny Point Road in Beaver Dam. It is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm and end at 6pm. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP:
