(Columbus) A state representative from Columbus was named chair of the Assembly Labor Committee. Republican Will Penterman was tabbed for the post by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos for the 2023-2024 legislative session.
Penterman says he is honored to be entrusted by his colleagues with this committee chairmanship. He adds that they have a full legislative session ahead of them with the opportunity to tackle many issues.
Penterman’s other committee assignments include vice chairman of Housing and Real Estate, Education Veterans and Military Affairs, Education, and Children and Families. Beginning his second term, Penterman represents Wisconsin’s 37th Assembly District which includes portions of Dodge, Columbia, Jefferson, and Dane counties.
