Columbus Representative Named Chair Of The Assembly Labor Committee

(Columbus) A state representative from Columbus was named chair of the Assembly Labor Committee. Republican Will Penterman was tabbed for the post by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos for the 2023-2024 legislative session.

Penterman says he is honored to be entrusted by his colleagues with this committee chairmanship. He adds that they have a full legislative session ahead of them with the opportunity to tackle many issues.

Pentermanโ€™s other committee assignments include vice chairman of Housing and Real Estate, Education Veterans and Military Affairs, Education, and Children and Families. Beginning his second term, Penterman represents Wisconsinโ€™s 37th Assembly District which includes portions of Dodge, Columbia, Jefferson, and Dane counties.ย ย
