(Beaver Dam) A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist is joining SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic in Waupun. Dr. Karen Meyer, who started seeing patients this past Monday, will also visit the SSM Health Physician Offices in Beaver Dam located at 130 Corporate Drive.
SSM Health officials say Meyer will serve with Scott Hansfield as he prepares to retire this year. She will also work with Amanda Hiemstra, a nurse practitioner who also sees patients in Beaver Dam and Waupun.
Meyer says the value of patient care comes down to the relationships she is able to cultivate with her patients. She adds that she looks forward to growing the patient population they can serve in Waupun as well as Beaver Dam.
Meyer has previously served for more than 17 years with the SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic and she is a graduate of the St. George’s University School of Medicine.
