Beaver Dam Removing Piers, Closing Park Restrooms For Winter

(BEAVER DAM) The City of Beaver Dam Parks and Forestry Department has announced that crews will soon begin removing piers and closing park restrooms as part of annual winter preparations.

According to the department, fishing piers on Beaver Dam Lake will be taken out starting the week of October 27, weather permitting. Two boat piers — one at Tahoe Park and another at Waterworks Park — will stay in place a bit longer, remaining open until ice-up or until weather conditions require removal.

At the same time, the city’s parks team will start winterizing and closing all park restrooms around the same week, signaling the end of the 2025 park season.
